Our Studio Code of Excellence

Our studio policies reflect our commitment to providing a creative, disciplined, and inspiring home for dancers. These guidelines protect the environment where artistry, learning, and personal growth flourish.

At The Performing Arts Collective, we uphold a standard of excellence in every class, program, and space we offer. Our policies and codes of conduct ensure that our community remains aligned with the values that define us.

Withdrawal/Cancellation

30 day written notice required to withdraw from any class
Tuition continues until notice is received
Medical withdrawals require a physician’s release
If withdrawing before classes begin, half of the registration fee may be refunded
No refunds for tuition or performance fees
Summer withdrawals not accepted after July 15, 2027
Every effort will be made to find alternate classes in the event of class cancellation.

Conduct & Behavior

We strive to provide an encouraging, nurturing environment for all dancers. To ensure each dancer feels safe and comfortable during class, we have a zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate behavior that may cause a disruptive learning environment or emotional harm to fellow dancers and instructors in class.

‍Our instructors reserve the right to dismiss any student from a class due to discipline problems or verbal disrespect.

Registration

A $45.00 registration fee is required from all dancers per season.
Summer sessions will have a $50 payment to hold your dancer’s spot.
For the best availability and class selection, we recommend registering for our studio classes early.
Enrollment must exceed 8 students per class.
We will close, add, or change classes as registration demands, but we will not be able to add students to a class once it has closed.
If a class does not meet minimum enrollment, we will notify you prior to class and confirm an alternate selection.
We’ll also confirm classes through email so update your spam filters. Class times may adjust prior to the first class, so please make note of your passcode and check your schedule and account through the parent portal prior to the first class. The most up-to-date schedule is available through your parent portal If you do not have one, please create one.

Payment Policies

Tuition is due on the 1st of each month
Late fee: $20 applied after the 10th
Returned payments: $25 fee
Tuition is non-refundable, non-transferable, and not prorated for absences, holidays, or closures
Card payments incur a 5% convenience fee
All accounts must have an active credit card on file
All accounts are required to be enrolled in Auto Pay
A $25 service fee applies to declined Auto Pay transactions
Attendance does not alter tuition installments

Dress Code

Online Dancewear Store

Required dance attire must be worn for all classes
Dress code details can be found in the class description portion of the website and attire can be purchased on our online dancewear store.
Hair secured away from the face; bun is required for ballet
Limited or no jewelry
Dance shoes may not be worn outside
Cheer style shorts are not permitted; if shorts are worn, a leotard must be worn underneath
Dancers must wear cover-ups outside the studio
