About The Performing Arts Collective
"Where intention meets artisty"
About the Director
Deanna Bellando is a dance educator, choreographer, and arts leader with more than twenty years of experience shaping dancers across Virginia and Florida. Known for her thoughtful instruction and award‑winning choreography, she has guided students into collegiate programs, professional contracts, and leadership roles within the arts. Her approach blends artistry and structure — the creative and the analytical — to build a studio culture rooted in discipline, mentorship, and belonging.

Our Story
The Performing Arts Collective was created with a simple belief: dance education should shape the whole person — the |artist, the thinker, and the human being. The Performing Arts Collective began as a vision shaped by years of teaching, mentoring, and witnessing the transformative power of dance. From Virginia to Florida, generations of dancers and families contributed to the values that guide us today.
Our Misson
The Performing Arts Collective provides meaningful, values‑driven dance education that empowers students to grow as artists and individuals — cultivating discipline, confidence, and community through every class and performance.
Why We Believe in Our Collective
The Performing Arts Collective is built on the idea that dance is more than steps — it’s a pathway to self‑discovery. We believe in creating a studio culture where dancers feel supported, challenged, and celebrated at every stage of their development. Our community is a collective of dancers, families, and educators who share a commitment to growth, artistry, and integrity
